The predecessor to the renowned Suunto 165-series, this compass has been the first choice of participants in offshore races for years. Due to its durability, superior readability and global balancing, nearly all boats that competed in the Volvo Ocean Race 2001-2002 were equipped with Suunto 135-series compasses. This particular model is designed to be flush mounted on deck within a console or on top of a pedestal.
